Backpack, tidy up and find blocks
Store scripts for other projects, tidy the code area and find blocks with Ctrl+F.
Backpack
- Drag a block (or a whole script) to the purple backpack in the corner of the code area, or right-click the block > Store in backpack.
- Click the backpack to see the stored blocks and drag them into your code, in any project.
- Manage the backpack lists the items: put them in the code or remove them.
- Without signing in, the backpack stays in this browser. With Google, it goes to the cloud. Free plan: 10 items; Pro: 30.
- To hide or show it: right-click an empty area > Hide the backpack.
Tidy up
Right-click an empty part of the code area:
- Arrange in columns: a board with scripts side by side.
- Arrange by event type: one column for the flag, others for keys and clicks, messages, clones, my blocks and loose blocks.
- Stack in a single column and Pack the scripts (removes empty space).
- Notes near a script move with it. Everything can be undone with Ctrl+Z.
Blocks never pile on top of each other: if you drop a script on another, it slides to the nearest free spot; if a script grows, it pushes its neighbors.
Find blocks
Press Ctrl+F (or just start typing with the mouse over the code area) and write part of a block: "move", "clone", "list". Blocks show up in the side list to drag. If a block is in an extension you haven't added yet, a button to add it appears.
